Jante.com takes every precaution to protect our customer information. When
you submit sensitive information through our website, your information is
protected both online and off-line.
When you enter sensitive information (such as credit card number) on our
registration or order forms, that information is encrypted and is protected with
Secure Sockets Layer (SSL) encryption technology.
JANTE.COM uses industry-standard encrypted Secure Socket Layer (SSL) technology
to protect sensitive information (i.e. your credit card number, address, etc.)
you provide during the order process. On site pages where you enter this data,
you may notice that the URL in your Web browser begins with https:// rather than
http:// which indicates you're on a secure page of our Web site. You also can
view the SSL certificate on the right side of your screen. You may put your
mouse on the certificate for further information, or click on it for further
assurance that all transactions done on Jante.com are 100% secure.
If you are using Internet Explorer or Netscape, there will be a lock icon at the
bottom of your browser as well. Please note that standard email is not encrypted
and is not considered a secure means of transmitting credit card numbers.
While we use SSL encryption to protect sensitive information online, we also do
everything in our power to protect user information off-line. All of our users'
information, not just the sensitive information mentioned above, is restricted
in our offices. Only employees who need the information to perform a specific
job (for example, a customer service representative) are granted access to

up-to-date on our security and privacy practices. Our employees are regularly
notified and reminded about the importance we place on privacy, and what they

Payment Methods
Jante.com accepts online credit card payment only. We accept Visa, MasterCard,
American Express and JCB. We also accept Visa and MasterCard debit cards. Credit
Card information is encrypted when a shopper enters the credit card number in
the web browser and when it is sent to the server.
Please note that your credit card will NEVER be charged at time when orders are
placed. The charges are made only when all items are packed and ready to be
shipped.

Credit and debit cards are subject to address verification by your financial
institution.
If you are contacted by Telephone or E-mail after submitting your purchase

• Card Verification Number (CVC- 3 digit on back of the card)

RETURNS AND EXCHANGES
We believe in the quality of our products, and we stand behind it every step
of the way. We will accommodate any reasonable request, but please keep in mind
that shoes (especially dancing shoes!) do wear out, and that we are not able to
accept any worn item for Returns/Exchanges.
Details
All returns are subject to a 15% restocking fee, unless the return is due to a
manufacturing defect, or an error on the part of us. Items returned MUST be in
NEW, UNUSED Condition with non-damaged packaging. Damaged packaging (original
manufactures box) will result in a $5.00 box fee. Do not mark or tape original
box in any way.
We will NOT accept returns of items with obvious signs of use. You must notify
us by E-mail to Sales@jante.com within 7 days of receiving your order if you
wish to make a return. Failure to notify us within a 7 day period will result in
refusal of your return.
*We will not refund the cost of shipping or handling, unless the return is due
to a manufacturing defect, or an error on the part of us or one of our
suppliers. If you return items in used condition, you will be responsible for
the cost to have them shipped back to you. Returns will not be accepted without
a Return Merchandise Authorization number. Once you notify us, you will be
issued a RMA # which must be written on the outside of the package you send to
us (NOT ON THE ACTUAL BOX). To get an RMA number for a return or an exchange,
please call: (909) 781-2612.
It is recommended that you insure the package for delivery back to us. We cannot
be responsible for packages that we do not receive or arrive damaged, due to
shipping. We process returns once every week, however please allow up to 30 days
for returns to be processed. All authorized returns that meet above terms will
result in store credit or refund to the credit card used for the original
purchase only.
*Returns for store credit must meet the above terms. 15% restocking fee will be
waived on returns made for store credit. Excessive returns for store credit, as
determined by Jante.com, will be assessed with a 15% restocking fee.
**Be sure to include in writing with your authorized return how you would like
your refund (credit card or store credit). All returns made without details on
how you would like refund, will result in store credit.
SHIPPING
We ship all footwear though UPS (United Parcel Service). Please note UPS
cannot deliver to a PO Box or APO/FPO Box addresses.
All shipping time are reflective of only in transit time. Most orders require 1
- 2 business days for packing depending on when your order was placed. Please
include these times when calculating the date of your packages arrival.
Due to high rates for International shipments, we do offer an alternate shipping
method through United State Postal Service (USPS) to reduce cost. USPS shipments
will only be used if requested by customers, otherwise will result in UPS
shipping charges.
** When requesting to use USPS as a method for International shipments, please
disregard the automated shipping charge calculation. We will make the necessary
adjustment prior to charging your card.
Refused Shipments
All refused shipments will result in 15% restocking charge plus shipping cost
inccurred, which includes any customs fees, taxes or duties that may apply to
International orders.
MISCWhen buying an Open-toe high heel shoes, it is normally recommended to buy the
same size you wear in a flat shoe. When buying closed toe high heels, it is
normal to purchase half size larger than your normal flat shoe size.
All shoes on this site are only available in whole sizes, please order the next
largest size if you normally wear a half size. (i.e. Size 6 ½ = Size 7).
These tips are taken from industry standards and should only be used as a guide
for buying the proper size. However we will not be held responsible if you do
not purchase the correct size. Buyers should be familiar with their particular
preference for sizing.
